Over the course of her creative career, Liza has worked in a variety of mediums including painting, printmaking, jewelry design and stained glass. She grew up on the South Shore in Massachusetts and now resides in Providence, Rhode Island. She received her BA in Fine Arts from Brandeis University and has been passionate about creating art for more than 30 years.
My paintings are colorful, loosely rendered, and explore the human figure as a vessel for emotion, memory, and connection. I’m drawn to the moments that hover between clarity and abstraction. I hope to create paintings that feel both familiar and dreamlike, inviting viewers to slow down, look closely, and find their own stories in the images.
